Why Kempner Farms local raw honey?

At Kempner Farm we pride our honey to be a flavorful floral honey from Central Texas. Our hives are scattered between the West Texas to native bunch grasses and forbs with scattered post oaks and some plateau live oak, black hickory, and blackjack oak to the east and down south to caldwell Texas and off to the Texas Hill Country to the West. In this wide strip of land from Austin in the south to Waco in the north, our honey bees forage for Spring to summer nectar and pollen from wildflowers such as Indian Blanket (Gaillardia pulchella), Horsemint (Monarda sps.), and Coreopsis. Year to year the natural blend in our Central Texas Wildflower Honey will vary. We take extra care to harvest and deliver these small sustainable Honey batches so you will not see change in our quality. We’ve been Producing quality honey for 10 years! Use this honey for Central Texas allergy relief, or anywhere you need a natural touch of sweet.
